New Phone System

INSTALATION OF THE NEW PHONE SYSTEM:

On Friday August 19th  2022 at both of our sites in Hinckley and Stoke Golding had a new phone system installation to increase access for patients.

The system has vastly improved the service we provide for you and below are some of the features the system includes.

are we’re developing a culture where we want to improve things all the time, we ask that you let us know if there is any feedback on the new system or how we use it.

Features of the new system that will improve your surgery experience include:

# Unlimited Inbound Calls so no more engaged tones

# Receive and queue unlimited inbound calls.

# Queue Position Indicator for all patients

# Patient Call-back feature reduced patient stress. (this will only work for patients with a recognised number in our system and who aren't ex-directory)

# Manual or Auto Group or individual In/Out

# Easily amended Announcements informing patients of new services or emergency situations.

# Call Recording - Meaning all calls are auditable and available for training and quality purposes.

# Also in the near future there will be a facility for patients to book appointments without having to speak to a member of staff.

The system also integrates with our clinical system which will improve the way we work in the surgery itself.

# Calls are linked directly to the patient record at the end of each call.

# Video Triage

# Automated confirm and remind for appointments via SMS and/or voice with option to cancel for patients.

# Appointment booking and cancellation via phone using advanced natural language speech recognition for ease of use.

# Photo Exchange Request a photo from the patient before a consultation, photos can be filed into the patient record.

# Document Exchange Share documents with the patient before, during or after a consultation, a record of this will be on the patient record
